Fast4Ward Edge Folding Electric Bike

I’ve been on the lookout for a quality built, well priced folding ebike for years and I’ve finally found it; the Fast4Ward Edge from Ultra Motors (now Hero Eco).

The Edge sports a 250 watt geared motor and a 24V 8AH lithium battery. Top speed is 15+mph with a range of up to 25 miles. It offers both manual power on demand as well as two levels of pedal assist. Shimano 7 speed rear derailler, Tektro V-brakes, front and rear lights, and an illuminated control display round out the features. At only 40 lbs. its the lightest bike in the shop.

The magic begins when, with a few simple lever flips, the bike folds down into a compact package that will fit into virtually any trunk, RV, boat, airplane, helicopter or whatever else you can imagine. Once you reach your destination in less than a minute you’re ready to ride. The ride is crisp and responsive, and while its not among the most powerful of ebikes, its surprisingly strong for its size and weight. Priced at only $1149 its hard to beat this offering.
